The United Nations World Food Programme estimates that 925 million people worldwide do not get enough food to be healthy and live an active life. Some of the key causes of hunger are natural disasters, poverty, conflict and poor agricultural infrastructure. The recent financial crisis has pushed even more people around the world to the brink of starvation.
