Capital Group Companies, the global investment management group of companies, has supported Merlin since 1997. This has included project and disaster recovery grants, funds towards general operating costs and donations to match employee gifts. The company has also seconded two staff members to work in Merlin headquarters for four months.

Control Risks, the independent specialist risk consultancy, has granted funding to Merlin since 1996, and is now hosting Merlin in the USA, saving vital funds.

Keymed, the medical products company, has donated over £350,000 to Merlin since 1996, and one of the Directors went to see our work for himself in Ethiopia in 2006.

Lloydspharmacy, the UK’s community pharmacy chain, raised £54,000 for Merlin’s ongoing tsunami projects in Sri Lanka, as well as over £8,000 for the South Asian earthquake, by involving staff and customers. Lloydspharmacy also donated 200 disposable cameras for Merlin’s photographic project marking the one-year anniversary of the tsunami. The cameras were distributed to survivors in Sri Lanka, and the images taken were exhibited within local communities there as well as in London.
