Merlin's existing corporate partners and some new companies are supporting our emergency response in Myanmar.
Man Group plc has donated £150,000 to Merlin for medical aid to help survivors of Cyclone Nargis. "We have supported Merlin emergency responses for many years. We are glad to add our support in this terrible disaster and hope many others will too." Andrew Scott, Deputy Chairman, Man Group plc Charitable Trust
Serco Group plc are a new Merlin supporter. "We chose to support Merlin because it was one of the few agencies already working in Burma, and therefore had inside knowledge and experience of the country. Merlin was able to provide us with the guarantee that the money donated by our employees to help survivors would actually have an impact." Gail Johnson, Head of Social Responsibility and Charities, Serco Group plc
The employees at Power Efficiency have been raising funds for Merlin for over a year, and the company have now given an extra donation towards our response following Cyclone Nargis. "Merlin has been really involved with Power Efficiency and made connections with our staff. We were really impressed by their rapid response in Myanmar." Bobby Collinson, Managing Director, Power Efficiency
