Masika Mastaki was shot in the head when armed groups forced their way into her family home and opened fire. The bullet remains lodged in her brain. Asked what they can do for Mastika, the nurse replied sadly: “Just palliative care I’m afraid.” Masika is suffering from blurred vision and dizziness, is in a great deal of pain and is struggling to eat.
