• £3 a month means that, after just a year, your gift could buy essential training materials for a Merlin midwife school in Liberia, where we support a total of 58 health facilities providing services to 524,753 people.
• £5 a month for a year buys enough needles and syringes for a Merlin health worker to vaccinate over 2,400 children from life-threatening diseases like measles.
• £10 a month for a year could pay for enough chlorine tablets for 24,000 litres of clean water – essential after an emergency to combat waterborne diseases like cholera.
• £16 a month could buy equipment including drip stands, stretchers, weighing scales, stethoscopes and medicines for a Merlin mobile health clinic – essential supplies when emergency strikes.
• £20 a month for a year can buy enough birthing kits for 24 community midwives to safely deliver hundreds of newborn babies. The kits include gloves, scissors, disinfectant, soap, plastic sheeting and towels.
