As a Field Management Trainee, you'll be facing challenges in some of the toughest places
Merlin is now running a new full time development programme: the Merlin Field Management Development Programme. This consists of 6 months in London followed by 6 months in at least one international field location. It has replaced the Internship programme, and is specifically focused on building future leaders – at the end of the programme, the intention is to place participants directly into a full time Merlin field position.
We look for candidates with good management experience and transferable skills – indeed, you may be a mid-career professional looking to develop your management skills in a new sector. You need to have the integrity, commitment and dynamism to deliver programmes supporting communities in some of the toughest places in the world.
In contrast to the voluntary Internship, for the Field Management Development Programme we pay £232 per week (the national minimum wage) to reflect the enhanced requirements and level of inputs that we expect of participants.
